Our Story

Pasture Raised Pork

Since 2009, our family owned and operated farm has been working towards producing the most naturally raised pork possible, while keeping an eye on animal health and farm sustainability. At CEH Farms, our results stem from a blend of old-fashioned work ethic meeting contemporary efficiency. 


We raise our pigs naturally with wheat, barley, clover, and oats as a staple and are supplemented with a custom feed blend.  In the Fall, they enjoy acorns, hickory nuts, and pecans from the numerous nut trees on our farm.  All our pigs live outside where they forage and root in mineral filled dirt their entire lives.  They are never confined in buildings and are free to mingle and socialize with each other.  Mothers have shelter available for farrowing, if they so choose.  If not, then they farrow and shelter in the woods nurturing naturally.  The baby pigs stay with their mothers until about 6 weeks of age.  Our market hogs are fattened outside where they have lots of room and always have access to fresh air and sunshine.  These pigs are treated very humanely, and we interact with them daily. Meds are only given if needed, and they have a happy, healthy, stress free life.
